Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Information you provide directly. When you submit our Contact form, we collect your name, company name, email address, phone number (optional), and the message you send. When you complete the Generational Succession Self-Assessment, we collect your name, company name, email address, and your responses to the assessment questions, including any optional open-text answers.
- Discovery Call scheduling. If you book a Discovery Call, you will be directed to our scheduling partner, Calendly, which collects the information you provide to schedule the call (such as your name, email address, and selected time). That information is governed by Calendly's Privacy Policy.
- Automatically collected information. We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate Site usage, such as pages visited, referring pages, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address. This information is aggregated and is not used to individually identify you.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries submitted through the Contact form and follow up regarding a potential engagement;
- Review and personally respond to Self-Assessment submissions with observations relevant to your family business's succession readiness;
- Schedule and confirm Discovery Calls;
- Maintain, secure, and improve the Site and understand how visitors use it; and
- Comply with legal obligations where applicable.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
Data Retention
We retain information submitted through the Contact form and Self-Assessment for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, pursue a potential engagement, and maintain business records, or until you request deletion as described below.
Your Choices & Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for business owners, executives, and professionals, and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal or operational reasons. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
